Fishbone, the legendary band that helped create the highly influential Los Angeles alternative rock scene that spawned the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane’s Addiction, will release their first album of original material in more than six years, Still Stuck In Your Throat, on April 24, 2007.
Fishbone’s ninth album, released on the independent record label Sound In Color, is a furious return to the band’s true roots. Playing their unique fusion of funk, punk, reggae, ska and heavy metal, Fishbone has established their reputation as one of the best live acts in rock & roll for 20 years. In fact, Fishbone fans will have a chance to experience their amped up live show all across the country on a five-week national tour that begins in earnest on April 25 in Austin TX.
